WigWig visit the Emirates: Business end of the League, no slip ups please
Today’s blog post shows how passionate i am for Arsenal Football Club.
I slaved myself all night long working with my sister on her new project. After leaving me to book her ticket to DreamLand around 0200 hrs, i started working my ass out to change my blog’s appearance and do other stuff. I went to bed around 0650 hrs and woke up around 1300 hrs to start writing today’s post. Things i do for Arsenal FC.
Arsenal face WigWig today knowing that a victory against the relegation-threatened side will put enough pressure on the leaders from Manchester. The Red Hell Owners host McAlbino’s Blues while the Cash Money Oil Money Billionaires travel to Villa Park to play the Villans. The League is still on topsy-turvy mode so i believe that some scripts might be rewritten again.
After back to back defeats at home, Arsenal sparked the “Emirates Revival” by beating WigWig in the Carling Spoon quarter finals. It wasn’t the best football match you would ever see but an own goal and a Nicklas “Wald Bezt” Bendtner slide in was enough to set up a date with Jewelry’s Tractor Army. At that point it was Keano’s Tractor Army. Football.
Speaking of Wald Bezt, there are emerging tales that his services are needed at the Carpenters. Their manager, The Gentle Frog has approached AW the Alchemist for Wald Bezt’s availability. He has already spoken to the Media Vultures that he’s in no mood to be a saviour. While his mates are winning the quad, he’ll still end up getting relegated despite amassing 15 goals or so. If I’m in his shoes i’ll stay here and fight for my place. You can’t really trust Robin “Glassboned” van Persie to stay fit from now till May. Besides there are games Wald Bezt will definitely start because the last time i checked, we were still in the “quad”.
We are playing a side that have a dismal away record against us. They haven’t rattled our net in their last five visits to the Emirates. Anything less than 3 points today will be regarded as utter disappointment.
John Cross says that “fatigue” might play a role in today’s game but i don’t agree with him on that. The depth of our squad this year is quite amazing. This is one of the seasons that many “regulars” of seasons before have spent good time on the bench. This is because reinforcements have been placed in every available position. Kudos to AW the Alchemist for getting the perfect blend this time.
For the starting lineup today, Wojciech “Szszsz” Szczesny will continue doing his admirable work between the sticks. I feel a bit sorry for Lukasz “Flyin Fabbi” Fabianski. After fighting really hard to usurp Manuel “Stainless Steel” Almunia, his place might be “under threat” because Szszsz has been doing superbly in his absense. Bacary “Timaya” Sagna will continue to do his bit in the right back position. Gael “Flash” Clichy had a week off so he’ll step in for Kieran “Ogo Gibbsy” Gibbs. Johan “Injourou” Djourou and Laurent “Kos100%tackle” Koscielny will continue to show their endurance in our defense. Sebastien “Squisha” Squillaci is now a week away so at least one of our center backs will get deserved rest. Jack “Whizkhid” Wilshere will replace NwaSamba Denilson to add dynamism to our midfield. Alex “Sabinus” Song will continue in his own position. You have to admire his stamina and style of play. He doesn’t really run himself down in midfield. This ability can make him feature in many games for us. The attacking quartet will be our goalscoring “number 9” “player” known as Theo van Nasregas. If you add their jersey numbers and find the average, you’ll get number 9. Try it yourself. Cesc “El Capitan” Fabregas willl take the attacking midfield role. The attacking trio will be Samir “El Rufai” Nasri on the left, Theo “Wal Kuint” Walcott on the right and hotshot Glassboned vP will spearhead the attack.

A loan move for Carlos “Aztec Warrior” Vela is on the cards. Like Andrei “Hotty” Arshavin, Aaron “Rambo” Ramsey might move to the club he started his football career in. But unlike Hotty, Rambo might go on loan. The Yellow Birds still want to retain Henri “Ljungbergy” Lansbury’s services.
That’s a wrap for today.
Enjoy the game wherever you are.
