Arsenal have picked up momentum at the right time with the Gunners aiming to continue their good form when they visit the London Stadium to take on a West Ham side that they thrashed resoundingly the last time they visited the arena.
With actual football creating the right levels of distraction, Arsenal has some critical business to conduct in the transfer market, as Mikel Arteta and co. will be looking to plug the holes that were badly exposed early in the season, leading to a slump that saw the Gunners drop crucial Premier League points.
Arsenal’s transfer plans revealed
Arsenal has been heavily linked with a big money move for Newcastle’s predatory forward, Alexander Isak, and more recently, the Gunners are believed to have sent some scouts to watch the Young Boys vs. Atalanta game, with a potential move for the Italian outfit’s prolific forward, Matteo Retegui.
However, one of the more concrete moves will be the potential departure of Jakub Kiwior to an Italian Serie A club, with the Polish defender failing to nail a starting berth in the side and is clearly out of favor with his gaffer, Arteta. Kiwior has been linked with moves to Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli and I’m certain that he could find his feet in familiar surroundings, bearing in mind that he left Spezia to join the Gunners.
