Manchester City have been charged by the Premier League for alleged breaches of the league’s FFP rules between 2009 and 2018.
Their issue with the Premier League has been going back and forth over the past few years with the hearing taking place behind closed doors. The punishment if City are found guilty includes points deductions, and relegation.
A whole host of Premier League clubs have been in support of the league executives taking on the Manchester club in court.
A lot of Gunners fans are especially against City after they won the Premier League title last season.

Arsene Wenger is an Arsenal legend and one of the greatest managers in Premier League history. He led the North London club to the Premier League title and went unbeaten for a whole season.
Wenger was on the panel for BEIN Sports coverage of the Champions League on Wednesday night. He said that the rules need to be changed:
“I feel the rules of Financial Fair Play today have to be changed in the Premier League. Because they now face competition from other leagues, who have changed their Financial Fair Play rules.”
‘At the moment you cannot hear a club like Man City being charged by 115 different charges in a football season. I don’t believe in that. The Premier League already lost a case, the first case against them. I don’t know them [City], I can’t judge them.”
Arsenal played on Tuesday night, and beat Shakhtar Donetsk to go up to seven points in the new Champions League format. The gunners returned to winning ways, after Declan Rice was vocal about the loss to Bournemouth.
The Frenchman also touched on the charges and the ongoing hearing involving Manchester City.
“I just think, 115 different charges against a football club today looks like we are in an international administration. Financial Fair Play rules have to be changed and made more simple.”
Arsenal boss’ stance on former employers remains the same
Earlier this season, when asked about the court case involving his former club Manchester City, Mikel Arteta gave a diplomatic answer:
“That’s something for the authorities to manage, it’s not for us. If they are playing, it means they can play and they are entitled to play, and that’s it”.
Arsenal will face Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend; a game Jamie O’Hara has already tagged ‘boring’.
