Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s Game 6 against the San Antonio Spurs.
Williams will come off the bench as the Thunder look to clinch their second straight NBA Finals appearance in San Antonio.
He had been listed as questionable heading into the game before being officially cleared to play on Thursday.
Williams missed the past three games after aggravating a left hamstring injury in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.
The Thunder currently hold a 3-2 series lead over the Spurs following Tuesday’s Game 5 victory in Oklahoma City.
Second-year guard Ajay Mitchell will remain unavailable for Thursday’s contest, as the Belgian guard continues battling a right soleus strain.
Williams first strained his left hamstring on April 22 in Game 2 of Oklahoma City’s first-round series against Phoenix.
He missed the Thunder’s entire second-round sweep due to that injury before aggravating it again in Game 2 against San Antonio.
After playing through a right wrist injury during Oklahoma City’s 2025 title run, Williams underwent surgery on that wrist in the offseason and then had a second procedure in the fall.
Williams made his season debut in late November but missed extended time in 2025/26 due to a pair of right hamstring strains, ultimately playing just 33 regular season contests.
A third-team All-NBA selection last season, Williams has averaged 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals across four playoff appearances this spring.
He has played 24.3 minutes per game during those four playoff outings, providing the Thunder with a significant scoring and defensive option off the bench.
