Miguel Almirón was the driving force behind the victory, registering three assists across the ninety minutes to set a new Atlanta United club record.
Almirón surpassed Brooks Lennon’s previous mark of 37 career assists, recording his 38th in just his 97th appearance for the club.
Emmanuel Latte Lath broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, converting with the help of Almirón and young defender Elías Báez to give Atlanta the lead.

Philadelphia avoided a clean sheet in the 87th minute when rookie midfielder Agustín Anello scored his first career goal, denying goalkeeper Lucas Hoyos what would have been his first MLS shutout.
