Arsenal visits St. James Park: You know the drill….3 points please

One week spent in Owerri already. It’s amazing how time flies when you’re extremely busy doing loads of stuff. I’m not just talking about blogging though.

Arsenal FC goes up north to the city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne knowing that there’s only one objective in mind. To take all 3 points.

When we were having a patchy form at home, Andy “WWE’s Edge” Carroll scored the solitary goal that handed them 3 points. We were very poor in that game. Walcott hit the bar and that was all.

We still boast of being the side with the best away record so adding Newcastle to the list of defeated foes won’t be a bad idea.

Let’s not forget that revenge is a dish best served cold. It can also be served on a cold Saturday evening by 4pm (GMT +1).

For the team playing this evening, Szszsz will continue between the sticks. He was complaining to the media Vultures about the pink kit. He called it “embarrassing”. He said that our former mad goalie Volatile Jens would have burnt it. Volatile Jens said that he has was it takes to make it to the top but he needs to keep working hard.

Clichy and Sagna will continue at their full back positions. The Squisha’s 2 game suspension is over but I feel that the Djourcielny combo will continue in the heart of the defense.

Alex Song is rated at 70/30 for the game so he’ll be replaced by either Diaby or Denilson. For a match of this nature, I’ll go with Denilson. Wilshere and El Capitan will retain their positions in midfield.

Walcott passed a fitness test so he’s likely to be drafted into the squad. Arshavin played well against Everton so I believe that he’ll replace TR7. rVp will spearhead the attack.

Gooner Daily’s expected lineup will be

Szszsz
Clichy-Djourcielny-Sagna
Whizkhid-El Capitan-Denilson
Arshavin-rVp-Walcott

Our last visit to St. James Park saw us emerge victorious with 4 goals to the good.

I wouldn’t mind another deja vu

Enjoy the match wherever you are.

Let’s hope Rosicky scores a goal if he comes from the bench. After all he dreamt about it last night. You can see the picture of him dreaming from this mischievious tweet from our captain

“@cesc4official Rosicky dreaming about finally scoring a goal…. http://yfrog.com/h2fxxesj”

El Capitan also said that Djourou was “doing weights” with his head

“@cesc4official: Johan doing weights with his head! Strong guy! http://yfrog.com/gy57ihzj”

He even caught Arshavin in the act

“@cesc4official: Andrei had a late night… http://yfrog.com/gzmc2mvj”

It’s always good to see our heroes having fun on Twitter. It’s an honour following them on Twitter.

Nasri took out time to give 10 signed shirts to the followers that knew when he scored his first ever professional goal, last Arsenal goal and the team that he made his debut against.

You can ƒølløώ Samir “El Rufai” Nasri @Nanas08

You can also ƒølløώ this blog @goonerdaily. I’ll ƒølløώ back

Enough about Twitter.
