German defender’s potential January switch to Arsenal is ‘not feasible’

Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck’s potential January switch to Arsenal has been termed unfeasible as he is not likely to be a starting eleven player at the Emirates as well.

Arsenal are sitting second in the Premier League standings after four games and are pushing hard to again challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Raheem Sterling, and Neto in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad and provide more options to Mikel Arteta.

However, there are concerns that Arsenal didn’t do enough to bridge the gap with Manchester City and many expect them to be active in the winter transfer window to bring in more additions.

One of the players who is being linked with a move to Arsenal in the winter transfer window is Inter Milan centre-back Bisseck.

Yann Bisseck to Arsenal in January is considered unfeasible

Any move from Arsenal for Bisseck in the winter window is likely to depend on the club selling Takehiro Tomiyasu in January.

According to InterLive, if the Gunners can manage to move on the Japanese defender, they could make a play to sign Bisseck from Inter in the winter window.

It has been claimed that Arsenal could offer somewhere around €25m to Inter for the German but that is unlikely to be enough to convince them to sell.

The 23-year-old has been an unused substitute in the last three Serie A games but the centre-back is still rated highly at the San Siro.

A move to Arsenal also looks to be difficult as even at the Emirates he is unlikely to start games given the presence of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba in the squad.

For the moment, it seems unlikely that the defender will opt for Arsenal in place of Inter given his need to play more football going forward.
