Arsenal is set to take on Leicester this weekend with head coach, Mikel Arteta, providing some updates on the latest injuries in his squad. After the Leicester game, Arsenal will be welcoming PSG to the Emirates Stadium for their second Champions League encounter.
PSG are expectedly at the top of Ligue Un after their 3-1 win over Rennes tonight. Bradley Barcola Barcola continued his fine form with a brace on the night, and Arsenal will be weary of the threat he’d pose when both side lock horns.
Update on PSG injuries
PSG is expected to be without as much as eight injuries when both teams clash on Tuesday. Desire Doue and Vitinha are currently suffering from ankle injuries and are set to miss the game for PSG against Arsenal. Key goalie, Gigi Donnarumma has been struggling to recover from a thigh injury, Nuno Mendes has been out with illness, Marco Asensio has been out with a muscle injury, as well as Presnel Kimpembe.
Goncalo Ramos is out till November 2024, while we should not expect to see Lucas Hernandez till next year after his ACL injury.
