Arsenal have been offered a £70 million French striker following their failure to sign a forward in the summer. According to TBR Football, PSG is ready to find a new home Randal Kolo Muani this January.

Paris Saint-Germain bought Muani for a fortune from Eintracht Frankfurt. The French club paid £70 million to secure the striker’s services in 2023.

Arsenal were keen on signing a striker this summer but weren’t lucky in the market. Reports suggest that Arteta still wishes to pursue a top-class goalscorer and will continue his quest this winter.

Although the club already has Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, Arteta thinks that they lack a serious goal-scoring threat at the top.

Havertz has adapted to life on the red side of London well as the German has already scored six goals and assisted once in 10 appearances this season.

Mikel Arteta will expect him to continue this form if they want to stay top contenders for the league title. Ex-Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus on the other hand has failed to find the back of the net despite 8 appearances with most of them being off the bench.

One of the main reasons for Arteta’s concern up top was Havertz’s failure to convert last season. Scoring only 14 goals with seven assists in 51 appearances was a disaster as the German adapted to a new life at the Emirates.

TBR Football says that PSG might be in for a loan deal this winter. They’d like to recuperate most of the millions they paid for Kolo Muani.

With Muani’s market value dropping to around £33 million, the Parisians won’t be keen on selling the player instantly. The Frenchman has fallen out of favour under Luis Enrique but remains a regular under Didier Deschamps at the French national team.

The striker has displayed a lot of talent with France and his age only hints at more untapped potential. PSG will look to strike a loan deal in January to raise the 25-year-old’s market value.

The Frenchman is guaranteed to perform if given the chance and both his physical and technical attributes are quite favorable in the Premier League’s context.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle United have all been offered the player’s services.

Havertz has started the season well but nothing guarantees a continuation of his form. Jesus’s 8 goals and 8 assists last season in only 36 appearances also offer no confidence to Arteta.

The Gunners might be looking at a loan with an option to buy as they’ll want to secure their frontline if the deal works out. Arteta is still in the market for a striker and Muani can offer the attributes he is looking for.
