Former Syracuse men’s soccer players continue to make their mark across professional leagues in the United States, Europe, and beyond as the 2026 season rolls on.
The MLS regular season is winding down while European leagues are back in full swing, making it the perfect moment to check in on the Orange alumni scattered across the globe.
Miles Robinson, who played for Syracuse between 2015 and 2016, has been one of the most high-profile former Orange players on the international stage this year.
Robinson earned a place in the United States Men’s National Team squad for the 2026 World Cup, representing his country on the sport’s biggest stage.
He featured for the USMNT in a full 90-minute appearance during the tournament, playing in the Stars and Stripes’ 3-2 loss to Turkiye.
At club level, Robinson has remained a consistent presence for FC Cincinnati, starting 19 games for the side throughout the current season.
Jeorgio Kocevski, a central midfielder who wore the Syracuse shirt from 2020 to 2023, has been a key figure for FC Tulsa in the USL Championship this season.
Kocevski has started 23 matches for FC Tulsa, contributing two goals and four assists as a reliable presence in the middle of the park.
His defensive work has arguably been his most impressive contribution, with the midfielder recording an outstanding 81% tackle success rate across the campaign.
Matt Orr, a striker who was at Syracuse in 2019, has been plying his trade in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Port FC this season.
Orr broke his duck for Shanghai Port in July, netting his first goal for the club in a match against Qingdao West Coast, a significant personal milestone.
Despite that breakthrough moment, Orr has made only six appearances for the club in total this season, limiting his opportunities to build on that early promise.
The presence of former Orange players across MLS, the USL Championship, and the Chinese Super League underlines the breadth of talent that Syracuse men’s soccer continues to produce.
From World Cup appearances to breakout performances in domestic leagues, these alumni are proof that the program remains a credible pathway to professional football at multiple levels.
