Arsenal Consider Paying 150 Million Euro Fee for La Liga Star

2024 has been an amazing year for Spanish football, and their European Championship win last summer was their crowning moment. There were a lot of players that were instrumental to that run, and according to Football London, Arsenal is interested in parting ways with a massive 150 million Euros for a La Liga super star.

One player that was heavily sought-after after his mesmerizing performances in the European Championships was Nico Williams but the challenge has always been Club Athletic Bilbao’s asking price, which is a whooping 150 million Euros. Williams has continued his good form this season and he’s more than capable of walking into any team that chooses to take the punt on him.

Williams was very influential for his team last season, winning the Spanish Copa del Rey and followed it up with consistent performances for Spain in the summer.

According to Spanish media outfit, Fichajes, Arsenal aren’t the only team interested in signing Williams, as fellow Premier League rivals, Chelsea as well as the oil-rich Paris St. Germain, have a keen eye on the Spanish winger. With so many suitors for his services, Club Athletic Bilbao will be licking their lips on the prospect of selling Williams to the highest bidder, and with their policy of signing only Basque players, they will have more than enough cash in the bank to find a suitable replacement.

Williams has scored two goals and created two assists for his teammates this season and these clubs would be hoping his output improves while they continue their pursuit of the winger. Should Arsenal decide to sign Williams, players like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard will have their playing time threatened and will need to be at their best to keep him out of the side.
