We may be a couple of months away from the January transfer window but Arsenal are making moves early, with plans in place to get some much needed reinforcements to bolster the squad for the grueling Premier League campaign.
With Arsenal suffering a litany of injuries, which was exacerbated with two more potential injury concerns in the recent 2-2 draw with Liverpool, Mikel Arteta and Arsenal will be hoping to get some transfer deals over the line to add to the depth of the squad.
The attacking department is one that Arsenal failed to address in the summer with a failed pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. With Gabriel Jesus misfiring heavily, failing to find the back of the net since January 2024, Arsenal pitched their attacking tent on Kai Havertz and while the lanky German forward has been very consistent, the club since needs a natural center forward to take them to the next level.
Football365 has reported that Arsenal has offered £100 million to Newcastle for their talisman, Alexander Isak, but this seems unlikely, as the Magpies will not want to lose their prized asset to a Premier League club. With Callum Wilson constantly on the treatment table season in, season out, Newcastle has focused their attentions on Isak and he scored a lot of goals that sent them to the Champions League a couple of seasons ago.
Arsenal changing their focus to Serie A forward instead?

According to Italian website, Inter-Live, Arsenal has set their sights in signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus for a reported 60 million Euros. This isn’t the first time the Gunners have been linked with the Serbian forward, but getting him in the winter transfer window will be a monumental move for Mikel Arteta.
Vlahovic is an experienced international that is tested and trusted, scoring 49 goals in 108 games for Fiorentina, as well as 49 goals in 113 games for Juventus. This season, Vlahovic, has scored six goals in nine Serie A games, but eight goals in 12 in all competitions. Vlahovic will give Arsenal a domineering presence up front and with his amazing finishing linked with Arsenal’s creativity, the goals will flow.
Vlahovic has 18 months left on his Juventus contract and there have been no talks of an extension, so a potential sale could be on the cards.
