Arsenal prepare £101 million bid for Premier League star

Arsenal are currently on the prowl for a new center forward following the team’s inefficiency in front of goal recently.

Arsenal has failed to score in their last two Premier League games, blanking in the 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth and looked really out of sorts in their visit to St. James Park to take on Newcastle. With Gabriel Jesus struggling in front of goal, Mikel Arteta has trusted a midfielder, Kai Havertz, to come up with the goods and even though he has been consistent with his output, he still lacks that cutting edge you’d get from a center forward.

Shockingly, Arsenal is currently in fifth place in the Premier League, an unfamiliar territory with the Gunners failing to register a win in their last three Premier League matches with the loss to Bournemouth, a disappointing draw with Liverpool and the narrow defeat to Newcastle. The lack of a recognized center forward was exposed and the Gunners are seeking to sort this deficiency out in the January transfer window.

Football365 has reported that Arsenal has offered £101 million to Newcastle for their star player, Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker has been a standout since his arrival from Real Sociedad a couple of seasons ago. Last season, despite his injury struggles, Isak scored 21 goals in 27 starts for Newcastle and this campaign, he has scored four goals in eight games.

Isak will be an amazing signing for the Gunners and he will slot straight into the first team.
