Arsenal willing to pay 90 million for La Liga star

Arsenal are expected to make major moves in the transfer window, with the Gunners hoping to bolster their attacking options.

The Gunners has had to rely heavily on Bukayo Saka to come up with consistent attacking output and this has taken its toll with Saka suffering a couple of injuries in recent weeks, which has also affected his form.

Saka’s long-term backup, Reiss Nelson, was shipped out on loan to Fulham and Arsenal signed Raheem Sterling on loan late in the transfer window. Despite having a handful of games in his disposal, Sterling hasn’t lit up any fireworks and the club is unlikely to retain his services following the completion of the loan spell.

This essentially means that Arsenal will need to delve into the transfer market for a solid right winger that can challenge Saka and provide competition for places in the squad

According to the Leeds Press, Arsenal are willing to make a gigantic bid of 90 million pounds for Barcelona’s ace, Raphinha.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal has soughted the services of Raphinha, with the Gunners attempting to sign him when he was still at Leeds United, but the winger was hell bent on moving to Barcelona.

Raphinha has been in stupendous form this season, scoring 12 goals and creating 10 assists in 17 games, making him one of the most in-form players in the world.

Signing Raphinha will be a huge statement for Arsenal and he will provide stiff competition for Saka as well as provide depth in the winger position for Arsenal. They will need to be swift in this move, with Liverpool eyeing him as a shock replacement for Mo Salah, as his contract disputes linger.
