Arsenal has been heavily linked with signing a plethora of center forwards and it’s quite understandable, with Mikel Arteta’s men failing to reach the lofty attacking heights of last season.
While Kai Havertz has continued the new campaign in a form close to how he ended the last, the attacking supporting cast have failed to deliver, with only Bukayo Saka coming close with his consistent attacking returns. Raheem Sterling, signed on loan from Chelsea has scored his only goal in a Carabao Cup victory over Bolton Wanderers, while Gabriel Jesus has scored only one goal since January 2024, which also came in the Carabao Cup win over Preston North End.
Arsenal is in dire need of firepower in attack and it seems like the club has identified a prolific target from the Bundesliga.
Arsenal linked with a move for Omar Marmoush
According to Football Insider, Arsenal is looking to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s hot shot, Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian forward has been on fire this season, scoring 14 goals in 18 appearances for the German outfit. Such form has not gone unnoticed, as Liverpool is also seeking the possibility of signing him, according to 90 Min.
With Arsenal and Liverpool gunning for the same player, it will be interesting to see the decision he would make regarding his future. There is also the business of the African Cup of Nations in 2025, with Marmoush being a vital part of the Egyptian Pharaohs squad.
