Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham: Player Ratings

Arsenal responded well from the debacle against Manchester United to secure a good win over their rivals, Tottenham Hotspurs.

Without further ado, here are the player ratings.

Defense

David Raya – Was blameless for the goal conceded but showed good composure in goal. (7)

Jurrien Timber – Put up a solid performance on the right flank. (7)

William Saliba – Put up a colossal performance and was unfortunate to deflect Heung-Min Son’s goal. (7)

Gabriel – Another monster performance at the back and was instrumental in the equalizer. (8)

Myles Lewis-Skelly – Arguably his best performance in an Arsenal shirt. To think he’s just 18. (8)

Midfield

Thomas Partey – Struggled a bit in transition. (6)

Declan Rice – Never stopped running and delivered a delicious ball that led to the equalizer. (7)

Martin Odegaard – Made a couple of key passes and should have scored late on. Good assist for the match winning goal. (7)

Forwards

Raheem Sterling – Was downright disappointing and doesn’t leave anyone with confidence. (5)

Leandro Trossard – Scored the winner of the North London Derby. Back in my good books. (8)

Kai Havertz – Tried his best but things aren’t working for him right now. (6)

Substitutes

Gabriel Martinelli – Was very energetic with the ball, but there was no meaningful end product. (6)

Kieran Tierney – Provided good protection for Myles Lewis-Skelly. (6)

Oleksandr Zinchenko – Didn’t play enough to get a rating. (N/A)
