Luton Preview: Games Coming Thick and Fast

Bukayo Saka unveils new celebration as Arsenal star joins Mohamed Salah in stunning milestone - football.london

Luton town hosts Arsenal in Kenilworth Road just days after both sides got involved in Premier League action over the weekend. Arsenal earned themselves a narrow nervy win over Wolves, that was meant to be comfortable, while Luton lost to Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Arsenal go into the game having some concerns on the fitness of Takehiro Tomiyasu, who looked in discomfort when he was subbed for a Ben White that has his own injury problems to worry about. Mikel Arteta also showed massive support for Oleksandr Zinchenko, whose mistake proved to be costly as it paved the way for Matheus Cunha to score the goal that bring Wolves back to the mix.

The regular absentees, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe, Jurrien Timber and Fabio Vieira are still out.

Luton’s gaffer, Rob Edwards, will be hopeful for his defensive trio to return for this clash with Arsenal. Teden Mengi (knee), Tom Lockyer (back) and Alfie Doughtry (hip) are going to face late fitness to confirm their availability for tonight.

Luton go into this game in very disastrous form, winning only one of their last seven games, and scoring only seven goals. Luton are also one of three games in the English top flight that has not kept a clean sheet all season in the Premier League. They are vying against an Arsenal side that has kept four away clean sheets this season, conceding only three.

This game would be a milestone for Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, which will be his 200th in Arsenal colors, and he’s just 22, which is an amazing testament of his service to the club. I pray he marks it with a goal or two.

Luton and Arsenal Predicted Lineups
