Arsenal handed huge boost in pursuit of Barcelona star

Arsenal has been touted to make a couple of moves in the transfer window this January and there have been many options that have been considered, as TBR recently reported that the Gunners are interested in signing Barcelona’s winger, Ferran Torres.

Barcelona, under new coach, Hansi-Dieter Flick, are currently on top of the Spanish La Liga, but much of their success this season has been attributed to the consistency of their front three of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, which has essentially relegated Torres to a handful of fringe appearances this campaign.

Torres has scored only one goal this season, in the 7-0 demolition of Real Valladolid, but for most of the campaign, he has been limited to mixture of starts and substitute appearances, and would prefer to feature consistently.
