Arsenal has identified targets on the transfer window and this season is no different. The Gunners were successful with transfer dealings for Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and a late loan swoop for Raheem Sterling.
The January transfer window is approaching and Arsenal has identified a couple of players that can bolster the squad in their charge for another Premier League title challenge. Arsenal has currently linked with a sensational huge money transfer for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, as well as a move for Juventus’ lethal forward, Dusan Vlahovic.
Arsenal facing competition to sign Randall Kolo Muani
According to the Hard Tackle, Arsenal is set to lock horns with Manchester United and Newcastle for Randall Kolo Muani’s services. With Newcastle’s star forward, Isak, set to potentially leave the club for a big money move, Kolo Muani has been identified as a plausible alternative and the French forward fits the profile for the Magpies, as he has some similar traits to the Swedish clinical finisher.
Manchester United on the other hand, currently have Rasmus Hojlund has their alpha dog in attack, but the Danish striker has failed to deliver despite having such huge potential. Signing a player like Kolo Muani will give Hojlund a run for his money, and with him having better finishing skills than the Dane, it will be an interesting battle.
The forward has found game time hard to come by and has grown very frustrated with his limited minutes under Luis Enrique. Kolo Muani has a regular for Eintracht Frankfurt and moved to Paris St. Germain for close to 90 million Euros, and Kolo Muani might have thought that the much-anticipated Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid move would pave the way for more playing time, but Luis Enrique has favored the likes of Marco Asensio and Goncalo Ramos ahead of him.
Kolo Muani’s agent is actively seeking a move for his client and Arsenal are potential suitors for his services.
