Arsenal has been very profligate in most of their matches in the Premier League this season and it was on show again in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool. With a more prolific striker in their ranks, they would have been more clinical in front of goal and getting an established center forward can go a long way in sustaining their fledgling Premier League title challenge.
Gabriel Jesus has been very disappointing in Arsenal’s attack and clearly lost his place to Kai Havertz, but the German lanky forward isn’t a certified center forward, and despite the fact that he has been very consistent for the Gunners with his attacking output, Arsenal can still do with a renowned striker leading the line.
There have been links with a 60 million Euro move for Juventus’ hot shot, Dusan Vlahovic, but he might require some adaptation and for a team challenging for the Premier League title, getting a striker that’s familiar with the league might be a better choice.

Football365 has reported that Arsenal has offered £100 million to Newcastle for their talisman, Alexander Isak. Isak is an established striker in the Premier League and has been very prolific for the Magpies, scoring 21 goals in 27 starts for Eddie Howe’s men last season. Isak has been phenomenal for Newcastle since completing his big money move from Real Sociedad a couple of seasons ago.
Signing a super star striker like Isak will be a huge statement by Arsenal and he would certainly be a starter for the Gunners, which will see Havertz deployed back to midfield to compete with the likes of Mikel Merino. The asking price of 100 million pounds is quite steep, but sometimes you need to break bank for what you want, like what Arsenal did with Declan Rice last season.
