Arsenal has been at pole position in their Champions League group, seating pretty at nine points from four games, but the Gunners lost their first game in the competition to RC Lens, so they will be weary of the threat the French team poses.
RC Lens had a very bad start to their Ligue Un campaign losing four of their first five matches, that saw them flirt on the relegation zone, but they have picked up good form in the League, going unbeaten in eight games, with five wins. Arsenal, on the other hand, have picked some form after a bad run of form that saw them lose controversially to Newcastle and knocked out of the EFL Cup. Following Kai Havertz late strike against Brentford, the Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League table.
To team news, Arsenal will remain without Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Jurrien Timber, but the Gunners have more than enough depth to cope with their absence. We have also learned from Arteta that Fabio Vieira is out for a couple of weeks after going under the knife to mitigate a niggling groin issue.
