Arsenal willing to pay £42 million for star striker

The transfer window is just a couple of months away and Arsenal, like every other top European club will be looking to make important signings to sustain their charge for the Premier League.

Arsenal, surprisingly, failed to start the new Premier League season with only the misfiring Gabriel Jesus as the recognized center forward, with Kai Havertz leading the line following his fantastic run of form. Long-term backup striker, Eddie Nketiah, was sold to Crystal Palace and with Havertz currently leading the scoring charts for Arsenal and Gabriel Jesus failing to score in close to 24 games (since January 2024), it is evident that a new center forward has to be on the cards.

Arsenal looking to part ways with £42 million for French striker

So many influential forwards like Dusan Vlahovic and Alexander Isak have been linked with moves to Arsenal, but they are very expensive. The Serbian forward is reported to cost 60 million Euros while it will take as much as 100 million pounds for Newcastle to let Isak off their grasp.

According to L’Equipe, Arsenal can sign Paris St. Germain’s French star striker, Randall Kolo Muani, for close to 42 million Pounds. The forward has found game time hard to come by and has grown very frustrated with his limited minutes under Luis Enrique. Kolo Muani has a regular for Eintracht Frankfurt and moved to Paris St. Germain for close to 90 million Euros, and Kolo Muani might have thought that the much-anticipated Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid move would pave the way for more playing time, but Luis Enrique has favored the likes of Marco Asensio and Goncalo Ramos ahead of him.

Kolo Muani’s agent is actively seeking a move for his client and Arsenal are potential suitors for his services.
